Are you consciously choosing to make an effort to feed your brain a dose or two of joy today?
This morning, have you feed your brain via laughter, a smile crossing your face, by making a conscious choice to focus for a time on acknowledging something that you are grateful for?
What about this afternoon, and in the evening ahead? Are you willing to ensure you consciously activate a positive thought occurring several times over within your mind?
Positive thinking and happy thoughts aid the brain to grow and develop new synapses, especially in the prefrontal cortex which is the part of the brain that controls emotions, behaviours and focus.
To be able to function productively, to be able to constructively do the activities involved in your day, your brain needs to be happy and positive.
To be able to focus effectively, to master as well as you possibly could that skill and ability you so want to master, your brain needs to be happy and positive.
To be in a state of balance and equilibrium, to keep yourself being reasonable & logical, your brain needs to be happy and positive.
To be a great communicator, to be a high performer, to make choices that trigger success more likely coming your way, your brain needs to be happy and positive.
Laughing, smiling, verbalising out loud even a short statement of gratitude... these are very simple things we can actively choose to seek out and do, throughout the day, to feed and develop the brain.
Choosing to make a conscious effort to feed your brain a dose or two of joy will change the quality (and even quantity) of life that is yours to have today, tomorrow and every day after. Choose to make an effort to feed your brain a dose or two (or four!) of joy today!
